China is a major sugar producing and consuming country.The sugar production industry is a source of income in people's live.However,compared with the international advanced sugar producing countries,there is a gap in the level of automation,production efficiency and energy consumption.The sugar production process consists of pressing,cleansing,evaporating,and boiling.The pressing process is the first step when raw materials arrive at the factory.The raw materials must be evenly pressed to ensure the smooth operation of subsequent processes and to reduce the cost.Based on this,in this article the writer selects the topic of pressing process to be implemented and designed with an automatic control system,including the selection of production equipment,PLC design,configuration design and touch screen design.This article is written after a thorough understanding of the pressing process and with requirements control to complete a balanced automated pressing control,automated water permeability control,analysis of control strategy for lubrication and axle temperature control.With a strategic analysis of the four subsystems controls,this would result in having clear control points at each process.The pressing automatic control system applies the SIEMENS S7-300 as the main station,ET200M as the slave station,working through the Profibus network to accomplish the mutual communication connection.And it applies Kingview 7.5 development and design of PC monitoring software,developing EV5000 touch screen monitoring software to accomplish the monitoring of the production process,the production of fast and efficient data acquisition.Through the host computer software and touch screen system,it could accomplish the monitoring of the production process,acquire important data.and related production parameters setting,so as to get the automation of the production process and improve the production efficiency.
