Nowdays, PM2.5 becomes the characteristics of industrial age, the extensive coal combustion is considered to be the main cause of the haze. But Chinese characteristics of rich coal poor oil and gas energy resources, determines the status of the coal as main energy will be difficult to change for quite a long time in future. Therefore accelerate industrial clean and efficient use of coal, for the promotion of green industry development, reduce the generation and emission of air pollutants, improve air quality is of great significance. Coal chemical industry equipment, each reactant has the characteristics of high temperature and high pressure, device of the risk of explosion danger. With the development of the domestic large-scale coal chemical projects, functional requirements for safety interlocks and speed of response are also increasing. In order to reduce the risk, to ensure the safety of personnel, equipment, production as much as possible, set up a set of independent security instrument system is very necessary. To meet the safety and efficient use of clean coal and coal chemical production processes and process equipment, in this paper, regarding Jingbian clean coal technology demonstration projects annual 1.8 million tons methanol joint unit gasifier technology, design and safety instrumented system, and implementation of the application, in order to meet national clean coal utilization and production safety.Firstly Jingbian clean coal technology demonstration projects annual 1.8 million tons methanol gasification combined unit for technology background, analysis of safety instrument system development and application status at home and abroad; And in-depth analysis of annual 1.8 million tons methanol combined gasifier unsafe factors in the process, based on the safety instrument system design principle, using HIMA provided H51q safety instrumented system design annual 1.8 million tons methanol gasification combined unit SIS safety instrumented system processes, including annual 1.8 million tons methanol unit gasification combined hardware and software of the process parameters safety interlock loop system design, and its corresponding implementation and applications.After the 1.8 million tons/year methanol gasifier SIS safety instrument system to implement joint device is put into operation results show that the safety instrument system normal operation, comply with the design of security requirements. Obviously, complete paper work can help methanol gasification combined unit in high-quality, safe operation. This has far-reaching, positive social significance for the country to promote the use of clean coal and to improve the eco-friendly.
