The Pot Tending Machine is the key equipment of large prebaked anode aluminum electrolysis production.The slag extractor installed on the tool trolley,is one of the main tools for the Pot Tending Machine.The smoothness and the speed of the slag extractor's action in the process of residue dredging,directly affect the production efficiency of electrolytic aluminum.The previous slag extractor on the Pot Tending Machine is traditional upright type mechanism,due to spatial constraints,the upright type grab bucket can not do too big,it is bound to result in the increase of the frequency of grabs and the extension of time during an equal number of residue dredging,resulting in the loss of electrolyzer temperature is particularly large,resulting in a tremendous waste of costs.Therefore,it is imperative to improve the structure design of the existing slag extractor to meet the needs of modern and high efficient production of aluminum.This paper through the research of implementation and simulation study of flat digging for the slag extractor on the Pot Tending Machine,the auxiliary linkage mechanism which control the slag extractor to realize flat digging,expecting to reach the flat digging tolerance of ±5mm that is the requirement of the aluminum smelter slag dragging process,and to provide the corresponding theoretical research foundation for the realization of flat digging for the slag extractor on the Pot Tending Machine.Now summarized the following main research of this paper:Firstly,calculated the digging curve through Matlab language.Secondly,combined the digging curve of the slag grab,Studied on the corresponding displacement parameters of the motion compensation mechanism.Thirdly,established the motion model of the slag extractor which contains a variety of kinematic pairs and constraints.Fourthly,compared the results of the simulation of the flat digging curve with the flat digging tolerance of ±5mm that is the requirement of the aluminum smelter slag dragging process,then got the displacement of the second compensation and the motion relation between the grab link mechanism and the auxiliary linkage mechanism.Fifthly,simulated flat digging curve with the the requirement of the aluminum smelter slag dragging process until got the needed flat digging curve,then got the motion parameters of the slag grab edge.Next organize the production test,checkout the possibility of the realization of the smooth operation of the slag removal mechanism In practice.At last,summarized the research work and forecasted the future work.
