In recent years, steroidal estrogens, one variety of environmental endocrine disrupting chemicals, playing an irreplaceable role in feminizing has threatened to human beings and animals in a full life-cycle and to be a focus of researching worldwide. Meanwhile, the coagulation treatment is essential for wastewater treatment process nowadays, as improving the removal rate of estrogen in the coagulation process is the research hotspot currently. This paper focused to study the removal feature of steroid estrogens(E1, E2 and EE2) by coagulation process and discuss the main influence factors on the absorption of estrogen in coagulation processes, such as the types of coagulation and dosage, initial concentration of estrogens, water quality parameters(include: temperature, initial concentration of pH, turbidity and so on). Explored the migration, conversion and removal of steroid estrogen in coagulation process. As the following conclusion:Selected four types of phosphate removing agent and studied their flocculation properties and the critical point of contaminant to optimize the parameters and flocculation in the coagulation process. Four types of phosphate removing agent had well removal effect to simulated wastewater, and the optimum coagulant dosage range of 0.04~0.4mL/L, while the pH range of 7.5~8.5. Confirmed the optimum hydraulic condition by full factorial experiments and the mainly influence factors was slowly stirring time and speed stirring intensity. The optimum condition were as follows: speed stirring intensity of 200 r·min-1,maintain 1min, slow stirring intensity of 60 r·min-1, maintain 20 min. Turbidity wasn't significant influence factor when phosphorus removal agent removed pollutants, while temperature increased the removal rate of phosphorus removal agent. It determined that four types of phosphorus removal agents can simultaneously adsorption the estrogen in coagulation process, while studied the influence of phosphorus removal agent type and dosage, the initial concentration of estrogen, temperature, turbidity and the concentration of soluble organic matter on adsorption removal of estrogen. Four types of phosphorus removal agent removal efficiency in the range of 20~80% to three kinds of estrogen. The dosing of PAC and III phosphorus removal agent had little correlation with removal efficiency of estrogen. Low concentration of estrogen, high temperature and high initial pH could improve the adsorption and removal efficiency of estrogen. High salinity and low DOM concentration could improve the removal rate of EE2 and reduce the removal rate of E1 and E2, but wouldn't increase or reduce the removal rate of these three of estrogen continuously. In view of the formation of flocs, broken and flocculation process could improved the removal effect of waster pollutant under appropriate condition, this paper studied phosphorus removal agent by the broken floc regeneration effect on pollutants. The flocs formed by flocculation had good regeneration ability. The turbidity and orthophosphate remained well removal effect in coagulation system after floc brakeage regeneration; regeneration system had a high adsorption-removal rate to estrogen than without floc broken regeneration system.
