Aluminum wood composite material combined with the advantages of low density of the two materials, gives full play to the advantages of each component and has excellent specific strength and stiffness than performance, but the preparation technology limits the popularization and application of aluminum wood composite materials. Casting is the most economic and efficient metal forming process, with lower production costs and extensive adaptability, and it has obviously positive significance to research casting process to the preparation of aluminum wood composite materials.Phosphate binder which has excellent high temperature resistant performance, with widely used and low price. It can not only become wood adhesive preparation, but also can be high temperature resistant protective coating of mental. Phosphate is also the most potential binder of clean casting, the core aim of this study is to preparation of aluminum wood composite materials through the metal mold casting method, by the way of the phosphate coating, playing its flame retardant performance, which is gained by wet regeneration coated on the surface of the wood.Aluminum phosphate high temperature resistant coating was composited with phosphoric acid and aluminum hydroxide as raw material, iron oxide as curing agent, fused quartz as the filler in the text. The influence factors and curing mechanism of the phosphate binder, and the reaction mechanism and kinetics of thermal decomposition process were studied by using thermal analysis technology(TG-DSC) and XRD properties characterization. The experimental results show that the phosphate coating has a good performance when matrix /curing agent ratio is 7:1, filler content is 30%, and curing agent is iron oxide. Based on the analysis of test results of phosphate binder, it can be found that thermal decomposition had mainly four stages from room temperature to 1000 ℃, three factors were calculated for each phase of the thermal dynamic and thermal dynamic equation of four stages were obtained.Aluminum wood composite casting were studied by orthogonal test method in the paper, optimum technological parameters and the influence of the factors and levels were obtained through the poor and variance analysis. Orthogonal experiment results show that the optimum parameters of aluminum wood composite casting is that coating layer is 2, pouring temperature is 680 ℃, and mold temperature is 300 ℃, which the coating layer and pouring temperature are the main influence factors, mold temperature is the secondary factor.
