With the development of energy, metallurgy, petrochemical, automobile and heavy machinery industry, the gears with big module and heavy load are widely used in the wind power, nuclear and mining facility, agricultural machinery and heavy-load vehicle, etc. Meanwhile, hobbing process is widely used in big module gear machining. With the development of science and technology, mechnical industry has been raising higher requirements towards the gear hobbing quality, precision and cost.This thesis mainly focuses on two important factors of the hobbing process for big module heavy load gear, i.e., hob parametric design and hob application analysis. This research is proceeded by both theoretical and experimental method.This thesis mainly developed a comprehensive integrated software system which including hob parametric design, hob machining simulation, hob application analysis and hob database management for big module and heavy load gear. The system is based on computer aided design(CAD) and the programming platform, by which can highly simplify the design flow, shorten the design cycle, reduce the designer requirements and improve the hob design and management efficiency. |
