Environmental Friendly Household Articles Design Taking Tea Stems As Raw Materals

In recent years, following the increase common environmental protection awareness, people pay more and more attentions to the high efficient use of limited resources. Although China has abundant forest resources, the per capita share is lower than world's average levels. There are many problems in timber resources supply all the year round, such as unbalanced supply and demands, largely depending on foreign import, low quality in timbers. In addition, due to the booming development of real estate market, the increase of family home-purchase demands drives the demands of household articles which also gradually increases the demands of timber resources.Under the background of timber resources supply and demand problems, as a program that can both satisfy people's use demands and relief the supply and demand gap of timber resources, the comprehensive development and use of non-wood based board are being vigorously promoted by government.Due to the requirements for tea qualities, tea stems are picked out in the process of tea processing and are always discarded as wastes. The amount of team stems is large which takes twenty or thirty percentage of the total weight of tea. At present, the there are still limitations in using tea stems as raw materials. Besides the unique substances included in tea, tea stems also have many useful ingredients. So as a waster material, tea stems have a huge research and use values.This paper analyzed the domestic market of household articles with artificial boards, domestic tea products waste usage, tea and tea stems' material features, artificial board processing technologies, studied tea culture formation and development, and linked the research on the market of household articles with artificial boards, products, tea, tea stems crushing and stirring techniques as well as formaldehyde emission control mechanisms with each other to produce environment friendly artificial boards using tea stems as raw materials and then design and produce environment friendly household articles. At last, this paper stated the cultural features granted by tea materials to environment friendly household articles. It complied with the development trend of environment friendly household articles and provided a new probability reference to the development of household article industries.
