With the continuous exploitation of crude oil, the proportion of heavy oil in each oil field becomes larger and larger. The high viscosity of heavy oil and poor mobility have greatly restricted the exploitation and transportation of heavy oil. So it is of great economic value to develop high efficient viscosity reduction technology.Several commonly used technology of reducing viscosity was analysed and compared. In this work, it was found that oil souble viscosity reducer has its outstanding advantages.This essay studied on rheological properties of Haqian heavy oil, inspected the crude oil of heavy oil at different temperature and share rate, The crude oil were separated four components, colloid and asphalt account for about 48%, HaQian crude oil belongs to high viscosity crude oil. Through the domestic and foreign literature, based on the mechanism of viscosity reducer on the analysis, aiming at the HaQian heavy oil in a high asphaltene problem, choose the stearyl acrylate (S) and styrene (S), maleic anhydride (MAH) and acrylamide derivatives (AA) as the reactive monomer, synthesized by solution polymerization method. Based on the experiment to investigate the reasons, such as temperature, time, ratio of reactants, impact on the effect of viscosity, get the best synthesis condition of viscosity reducer.The best synthesis condition of viscosity reducer SSA:monomer ratio is 5:1:2, reaction temperature is 70?,reaction time is 7h, initiator addition is 1.0%, productivity is 80% above, viscosity reduction rate is 69% above. The best synthesis condition of viscosity reducer SSAM: monomer ratio is 5:2:1:1, reaction temperature is 80?,reaction time is 6h, initiator addition is 1.0%, productivity is 90%above, viscosity reduction rate is 74% above. The main functional groups in the polymer were characterized by IR spectrum.Using toluene as the carrier fluid study the performance of the two viscosity reducers, When the viscosity reducer SSA was added to the mount of 600?g.g-1, the oil viscosity reduction rate was above 70%,at 50?, When the viscosity reducer SSAM was added to the mount of 700?g.g-1, the oil viscosity reduction rate was above 80%,at 50?, SSAM is better than SSA, get the expected target.This essay compounded the viscosity reducer and the surfactant OP-10, the viscosity reduction rate increased in different degrees, indicated that viscosity reducer and surfactant OP-10 have synergistic reaction.Finally, This essay used four component analysis to deal with the heavy oil with viscosity reducer added. Colloid and asphaltene decreased from 47.63% and 0.82% to 36.12% and 0.37%, the saturated and aromatic components increased from 38.76% and 11.25% to 43.43% and 18.88%, reaching the goal of viscosity reduction rate.
