Production And Application Of Yellow Paper For Myopia Prevention

The current domestic situation is very complex in papermaking industry.The competition among enterprises is more and more fierce.The most important task for the papermaking enterprises is how to realize the diversification and branding of paper products at the present.For this reason,our company selectively analyzed the serialization of paper grades,especially for writing and reading related papers.This topic focuses on developing a yellow paper which can be used to prevent myopia.To meet the requirement of myopia prevention paper,we select high quality wood pulps and yellow pigment as raw materials.In one hand,the yellow color can absorb the blue light in solar,and thus reduce visual fatigue.On the other hand,the paper is designed to have a bulkiness of 1.4 cm3/g,which is higher than conventional offset paper.This creates a favorable condition for market promotion.To improve the performance-to-price ratio of the yellow paper,a high proportion of chemical mechanical pulp,which can ensure the high thickness of paper,was used.A ternary retention and drainage aid system was employed to improve the first pass retention and dewatering rate of paper furnish on paper wire and enhance the surface smoothness of base paper.The employment of high quality pigment,Yellow(3GN),to dye paper make the paper show expected color indexes.By adjusting the beating degree of pulp,reducing the furnish concentration and adding an air eliminator,the paper evenness was improved.At the same time,in order to ensure the durability of the paper,AKD neutral sizing combined with calcium carbonate filling were adopted,which can prolong the service life of the paper.The physical properties and optical properties of paper were also improved.By investigating the effect of pulp ratio on paper quality index and color difference,which is produced by the different paint formula design,myopia prevention yellow paper process were developed.Meanwhile,the production equipment was optimized.The process technology was improved.The paper with high formation and stable quality was manufactured.This can act as a guidance for the production practice.
