Because of good heating performance,low vapor pressure,good compatibility and many other advantages,Nitrate series heat carrier have important applications in industrial production and new energy fields,etc.Because nitrate is a strong oxidizing agent,and has thermal decomposition of risk,so the proper use of nitrates heat carrier has become the key to ensure the smooth running of the production process and avoid accidents.The background of this thesis is nitrate series heat carrier industrial applications,especially nitrate heat carrier applications in Shanghai Huayi(Group)company acrylic device,phthalic anhydride plant.The aim is to research nitrate heat carrier heating behavior,and to provide a scientific basis for the safe use of nitrate heat.This thesis describes research ideas,methods and programs as well as basic research on the reliability of the test method,then studied impact of preparation method,eutectic mixture ratio,withstand temperature and the atmosphere to the nitrate heat carrier’s thermal behavior.Instrument test accuracy and data reproducibility studies show that thermal analyzer HCT-3 and its TG and DTA module are able to obtain accurate,reliable data results on the study of the thermal behavior of the heat carrier.The research of nitrate series heat carrier preparation method showed that the static method of mixing molten salt’s melting range is wider than the mechanical mixing method;compared with static mixing molten salt,mechanical mixing method has a more high thermal decomposition temperature.With the study on the ratio range and ratio preferred of eutectic nitrate can heat carrier,we obtained the eutectic ratio and range of varying nitrate(containing nitrite)composition and got the lowest melting point of nitrates and mixtures thereof to reach a minimum temperature.By studying tolerance temperature of nitrate heat carrier,we got the temperature range of different nitrates mixture components.Influence of the thermal behavior of nitrate under aerobic conditions indicates that under aerobic conditions,the eutectic mixture of nitrates has wider range,the lowest ratio was changed in the melting point,the lowest temperature was higher than the melting point in the nitrogen atmosphere and the maximum tolerance temperature is lower than the nitrogen atmosphere.
