Sulforaphene, which is a natural productextract from radish seed with anti-bacterial, anti-tumor, anti-oxidation activity. Related studies have found that sulforaphene has poor stability, that could occur degradation reactionseasily with a protic solvent such as water Sulforaphene in the preparation process will introduce a lot of water, after prepared large quantities of sulforaphene is not conducive to preservation because of the property of the sulforaphene react with water easily. Further studies have found that sulforaphene and glutathione combination can enhance the anti-tumor activity. In this research, we found that the chemical structure of sulforaphene-glutathione conjugates; developed a preparation process of conjugates; improved the solubility of the conjugates; and explored the stability of solids and aqueous solution of the conjugate and its sodium salt. The results are listed as follows:1.The sulforaphene-glutathione conjugates was found and its structure was identified. No reports were on the conjugates which was a new sulforaphene derivatives.2.We found the optimum reaction conditions of sulforaphene react with glutathione by Single factor and orthogonal experiments, these conditions such as the source sulforaphene, the ratio of sulforaphene and glutathione, the ratio of glutathione and water, the time of reaction, the temperature of reaction.3.We had research on the solubility of the sulforaphene-glutathione conjugates, using crystallization to purify the conjugates. Optimized the conditions of the crystallization, such as the ratio of solvent, the temperature of the crystallization.4. Increased the solubility of the sulforaphene-glutathione conjugates by using the salt-forming reaction with NaHCO3, and found a route of preparing pure conjugates.5. We explored the stability of solids and aqueous solution of the conjugate and its sodium salt, and we found the conjugates and its sodium salt have a good stability.
