Phenol, acetone is an important chemical material, its application field is extensive, and in recent years, phenol, acetone market is quite active, with good prospects for development. At present the main method to produce these two kinds of chemical raw materials is cumene method.China Petroleum and Chemical Corporation Beijing Yanshan Company (Yanshan Petrochemical Corporation) second phenol acetone unit(referred diphenol unit) from 1995 began producing phenol?acetone. But in early 2011, after analyzing acetone products of second phenol plant by the quality inspection department found that its quality did not meet the requirements of the production of bisphenol A, therefore, before bisphenol A plant put into operation, must optimize the process of the second phenol plant and improve the quality of acetone.Through analysis found that high methanol content of second phenol acetone plant is the main factors influencing the quality of the acetone products,therefore, acetone purification systems were optimized and transformation, proposed increasing tower for separating methanol, optimizing acetone purification column cycle optimization acetone system, acetone recovery tower systems and other measures.Then, the optimization scheme is simulated with Aspen Plus software. Through simulation,the number of Methanol dehydration tower actual stages of is 36, the optimal feeding position is 11, methanol content of acetone refining tower side-stream acetone products dropped to about 40?g/g,but the potassium permanganate time of acetone products decreased from 150 min to 10?20 min after running,acetone products was not superior grade requirements.Therefore, acetone recovery tower system has been further optimized, the overhead component removal process continuously.After optimization of transformation, ultimately methanol content of acetone products dropped 300?g/g or less, reached the aggregation level requirements, Mitsubishi Chemical Co. Ltd. before the polycarbonate bisphenol A device to drive, to protect the supply of its raw materials acetone,make sure that the bisphenol a device regularly driving and improve the reputation of Yanshan Petrochemical Corporation GR acetone products, enhance market competitiveness.This optimization process method can be carried out to promote the use in the production of phenol and acetone apparatus cumene, the production of low methanol content of acetone products of the same device provides an efficient way.
