The catalytic dry gas contains a lot of ethylene, if it was only used as a fuel gas, this will cause a great waste of resources. The third generation technology of ethylbenzene unit from FCC dry gas effectively use the low concentration ethylene in the catalytic dry gas, the ethylbenzene is produced by the reactions of benzene alkylation and transalkylation. This technology has become an example for catalytic dry gas comprehensive utilization, enterprise energy conservation and emissions reduction. It also reasonably combine the resource reclamation and the demand of the ethylbenze market, it is a representational technique breakthrough in the chemical industry, the rise of the technology has played a positive role in promoting the related economic development.In this paper, first of all, introduce the development of the ethyl benzene production technology and the reaction mechanism of the preparation of ethylbenzene, and then combine with the Shandong jingbo 40000 tons/year ethylbenzene unit from FCC dry gas to describe the technical route of third generation of ethylbenzene unit from FCC dry gas. Analyze by collecting the device operation data, and camparing process simulation data. For the unit running process part, we deeply analyze two issues for the influence of the unit operation, one is the equipment pipeline corrosion problem by H2S in the catalytic dry gas in to and the other is material carrying, system generating the non-aromatic components, and then give some solving measures. First, begin from scheme discussion, combine with process simulation to reasonably calculate the solution, and determine the exploitativeness of the scheme; Second, perfect design the solution; Finally, remould the device and verify the validity of the solution.In this paper we effectively solves the two present problems of Shandong jing bo 40000 tons/year ethylbenzene unit from FCC dry gas, which can make the unit run more stablely, and reduces the cost of equipment operation and maintenance, increase the benefit.
