| Tert-butyl ether methyl (MTBE) is a colorless, transparent liquid, which belongs to organic ether and has a high octane number.Blended into the gasoline, MTBE can not only improve the octane number of gasoline, but also reduce the emission of CO and the processing cost of gasoline. Therefore, MTBE has been widely used as a gasoline additive in the world.This paper takes a 100000 tons/year MTBE unit of CXPC as object, takes the industrial process of MTBE as technical basis to describe the process principle of the unit, technology choice, the main influence factors of etherification reaction synthesis of MTBE the process description and operating conditions, and deeply analyze the industrial application of MTBE synthesis reaction process.Through the analysis it is showedthehe main equipment, etherification reactor, catalytic distillation, extraction column and methanol recovery tower overall operation effect is good,and can meet the design requirements. But there is still some room for optimization and the energy consumption of the unit can be optimized.In this paper through the simulation and optimization of the process, a new depentane tower is added to ensure that the content of C5 etherification of four carbon feed(wt%) is less than or equal to 0.1 and to improve the purity of MTBE.Through the calculation and simulation of depentane tower, the operation condition is determined. The top pressure of the tower is 450kpa (A), the top temperature is 40.75, the bottom pressure is 500kPa (A), the bottom temperature is 89.84, and the reflux ratio is 1. In order to ensure the gasoline to meet the national V gasoline quality standards in 2017, the unit uses a low sulfur produce technology of MTBE to make the sulfur content of the MTBE products below 10ppm. |
