A Study On Construction And Field Design Of Kindergarten In Zhejiang Province Based On Prevention Of Outdoor Pollution

In recent years, there has been a frequent occurrence of urban air pollution. For instance, the haze giving rise to a heated debate now has made many middle and primary schools as well as kindergartens call a halt to the outdoor activities, to which we should attach importance. Especially in the stage of kindergarten education, children are special and young with poor physical quality. They need outdoor activities. A good outdoor environment and sufficient time for outdoor games plays an important role in their healthy growth. Therefore, the design of kindergarten should not only pay attention to the building itself, but also attach enough importance to the outdoor atmospheric environment. As a designer, I believe during the plan and design process of kindergartens, the idea of preventing outdoor air pollution around the kindergarten should be carried out and through the design and plan, methods of preventing outdoor air pollution should be proposed to create a safe, healthy and comfortable outdoor environment for kids in kindergartens.kindergarten outdoor air pollution could do much harm to young children and their teachers, and young children are usually short, have weak physical tolerance and poor psychological enduring capacity, this paper puts forward that the prevention of outdoor air pollution around kindergartens has its specific characteristics. For example, the prevention and control standard should be more strict and pollution prevention should accord with young children’s characteristics. It also provides the air quality standards and wind environmental comfort level standards for reference.This paper takes the design of kindergartens in the new district of Jinyun County, Lishui, Zhejiang for example. It obtains the basic data through analyzing the wind environment of the site with the help of PHOENICS and adopting the methods of map overlay and generalization and summarization to analyze the sources of pollution and impacts of the pollution. The paper proposes basic principles to prevent and treat pollution and guiding strategy to kindergarten location, building body and layout of each functional area, road, entrance and planting to ensure the main functional areas of kindergarten are located as areas with appropriate wind speed and less pollution, and thus create a good outdoor environment suitable for the healthy growth of young children in kindergartens.At present, there have been many researches on the design and construction of kindergartens and their environment in the country, and they tend to be mature. However, there are few investigations and studies on the prevention of kindergarten outdoor air pollution. The research conducted in this paper still has limitations. The prevention methods put forward are of universality, so they could be used for reference in the similar designs. The paper hopes to draw other scholars’ attention to the prevention of kindergarten outdoor air pollution for more in-depth research.
