Gun drill is one of the most effective way of cutting tool processing of deep hole.Gun drill points crumbs slot structure of gun drill drilling performance has important influence,mainly affects the shape of the chip,chip removal ability,the strength of the gun drill,durability and other mechanical properties of gun drill,etc.Dalian Jerry Tool Technologies AG developed Multifork gun drill(Multifork Gun drill,called MG)a better solution to the problem breaker.But more importantly in terms of its performance axial force,torque,durability and wear analysis methods have not been studied.However,good durability is made gun drill.So this thesis will be carried out on the design of MG gun drill durability,wear in the form of research.This paper according to the group of diamond circular blade thought,establish a mathematical model of double circular blade of gun drill geometry and mathematical model according to the geometry and the basic principle of gun drill grinding,establish double circular blade grinding mathematical model of gun drill,grinding method of the double circular blade gun drill.Then through the experimental comparison analysis and control variables method,design cutting comparative test programs on MG gun drill and ordinary gun drill drilling difficult-to-machine materials 42 Cr Mo,and comparative analysis of morphological changes of the wear suffered by the axial force and torque in the cutting cycle,obtaining the MG gun drill durability.Then according to the problems in the experiment proposed MG gun drilling optimization improvements.Experimental results show that the chip morphology obtained when MG gun drill drilling cuttings obtained form than ordinary gun drill drilling;gun drilling MG durability with respect to the ordinary gun drill durability increased by nearly 10%;MG gun drill whole cutting,axial force and torque must be smaller than the force and torque when drilling ordinary gun drilling,cutting force is reduced by nearly 12 percent,torque is reduced by nearly 7%;MG gun drill wear amount when drilling smaller than the standard gun drill drilling wear amount of processing.Therefore MG gundrill not only has good points chips,chip breaking performance,but also has low cutting force,high durability,etc.,with high practical value.
