New box opening mechanism is a combination of planetary gear train, CAM linkage mechanism, synchronous belt drive, gear drive. According to the kinematic analysis of this mechanism, know that open box plate corner directly decides the open box angle, and the expression of the maximum open box plate corner θk is obtained through the analysis and calculation. The 3D assembly model established by SolidWorks carries on the motion simulation in Adams, according to the motion data θk=161° and the movement relationship between the open box plate and the suction, the open box angle 160.83° is obtained by using graphic method and inversion principle, then based on the result that the angle is much larger than ideal angle 125°, three optimization schemes are proposed:open box plate and the suction relative position optimization, transmission ratio optimization, cam curve optimization. According to the hinge force change in the process of the simulation, the preliminary determination of the motion performance of the mechanism is obtained, it is concluded that the impact of inertia is the main factor restricting the speed up potential of the box opening mechanism.During optimization on the relative position, establish geometric equation and get the initial position optimal solution interval of the open box plate when the open angle is ideal, the optimal solution is found by using drawing software with graphic method. Optimization of transmission ratio, according to the θk expression, the transmission ratio under ideal angle is solved, and synchronous belts wheel are selected based on design manual. Optimization of CAM curve, in addition to analytic method, a new method based on SolidWorks motion function design CAM curve is used, which can greatly improve the design efficiency of CAM.
