The organic phosphorus and inorganic phosphorus in water was native and from water disturbance, so widespread and high concentrations of phosphorus which become one of the main pollution problems in rivers and lakes of China. Water of rich phosphorus easily appear red tide, thereby reducing the dissolved oxygen content in water, threatening the survival of aquatic organisms, so phosphorus removal has already become the focus of the world. The study found that there are a variety of methods about phosphorus removal, including biological methods, physical and chemical methods. Biological methods was long and expensive, and initial investment was more expensive with long-term operating costs. The physical and chemical methodS were simple and practical, and can be used for emergency pollution use, and mainly through the adsorbent to complete the removal process in Van Edward and chemical action. The adsorbent is used for a long time with high demand, high investment, the researchers tend to adsorbent development of ultra low cost and high efficiency.Water plant sludge mainly contain iron and aluminum. However, the original water supply sludge is very limited to phosphorus adsorption saturation. To meet the current situation of phosphorus pollution control requires a considerable amount of water sludge, so a lot of the increase in other costs is not conducive to resource utilization of water plant sludge. The object was to modify water plant sludge, and modified sludge powder with lime, fly ash were to make granule and explore the mechanism of granulation, effect on phosphorus removal to enhance in the promotion of water treatment.Conclusion of the experimental research :original state water supply sludge powder were with the increase of adsorbent dosage, the removal rate of phosphate gradually increased, and the amount of phosphate adsorption curve decreased gradually. With the gradual increase of phosphorus concentration, phosphorus removal rate decreased gradually, phosphorus adsorption curve gradually rising trend. With the increasing of pH, the removal rate of phosphorus and phosphorus adsorption curve decreased gradually. The initial phosphorus concentration, pH, time for significant factors, the dosage was no significant influence. The solid-liquid interface diffusion process plays a leading role in the process of ion movement to the surface of the powder. The phosphorus adsorption process was easily done, and chemical adsorption played a dominant role. The largest amount of adsorption of phosphorus sludge powder was 4.172 mg/g. According to the characterization, the reaction principle of phosphorus adsorption process may be ion exchange.The experimental conclusion of modification: with modified powder dosage increased, the removal rate of phosphorus increased, and phosphorus adsorption capacity decreased gradually. The experimental results with the influence of different initial concentration showed that with the increase of the initial concentration of phosphorus solution, the removal rate decreased, and phosphorus adsorption capacity increased gradually. When pH is 3 the phosphorus removal effect was the best. pH was the significant influencing factor, and the other 3 were non significant factors. In early stage the solid-liquid interface diffusion process of ion movement to the surface of the powder played a leading role, and the late reaction process of chemical adsorption. Temperature was not the decisive factor in the phosphorus removal process. According to the judgment, the phosphorus removal modified of water plant sludge was favorable adsorption.Modified sludge particles test conclusion: when proportion Modified sludge, fly Ash and CaO was 8:4:3, the removal of proportion was best. Compared with the original water supply sludge removal rate of 0.25 g powder with 24.77% and modified powder removal rate of 0.25 g with 97.73%, the modified particle removal rate of 0.25 g was 61.08%. Surface of Modified sludge particles has the characteristics of porous medium, uneven dispersion, large surface area. As the particles of dosage, phosphorus removal rate showed a gradual upward trend. With the increase of the initial concentration of phosphorus, phosphorus removal rate gradually decreased, and phosphorus adsorption capacity gradually increased. With the change of pH, phosphorus removal curve showed medium. The influence factors of operation order was initial phosphorus concentration, sediment dosage, adsorption time, pH. The optimal combination of treatment level was A3B1C3D4, and it was that the initial concentration was 10mg/L, pH was 3, dosage was 1.0g/L, adsorption time was 4h, and the removal rate was 93.14%. During ion movement to the surface of the powder particles the diffusion process plays a leading role, and the leading was chemical adsorption. The isothermal adsorption experiment Show that: the phosphorus adsorption process was easily done, and chemical adsorption played a leading role. The order of three kinds of solution for analytical rate of phosphorus was HCL, NaOH, H2 O.Conclusions of the actual wastewater treatment test were that for low concentration of phosphorus in water by modified water sludge particle, when the dosage was 5 particles(0.5cm), the phosphorus removal rate of inland river in GuangZhou was 93%. Phosphorus removal rate of secondary sedimentation tank in Xintang sewage treatment plant was 63%, and the removal rate of phosphorus was 59% in Helen castle garden pond. For high concentration of phosphate water degradated by modified waterworks sludge particle, when the dosage is 5 particles(0.5cm), the phosphorus removal rate of sewage of scattered farmers in Tonghu basin was 86%, and the phosphorus removal rate of wetland effluent of scattered farmers in Tonghu basin is 85%, and the phosphorus removal rate of effluent of primary sedimentation tank in Xintang sewage treatment plant was 87% by modified waterworks sludge particle.Water sludge from powder to modification, and then to make particles, was a process of transformation.The phosphorus removal effect of primary water sludge was less than the modification's water sludge and water sludge particles. However, The phosphorus removal effect of modification powder is better than that of particles, and the reasons was the bigger surface area of powder. In the process of particle phosphorus adsorption experiments, both single factor and orthogonal experiments and so on, the error is bigger. The particles of the manufacturing process was to rely on hands,and the size of the particles was not very consistent to lead to the error of the result of the experiment, but after the experiment many times we can find out the main rule. To sum up, the sludge particles was successfull manufactured by hands. They had strong adsorption capacity and low cost. There are an effective reference for water sludge recycling.
