Ammonia nitrogen pollution is attented widely in society. In ammonia nitrogen wastewater treatment, adsorption method has made substantial progress. But common adsorption materials can not meet diversified wastewater treatment. In the adsorption separation, zeolite molecular sieve is used widely because of outstanding adsorption performance. It has broad application prospects in water treatment.Compared to natural zeolite, artificial zeolite by activation, adsorption capacity is improved. But there are still problems of high cost, adsorption effect is not ideal. Researched modification of aritificial zeolite and enhance process of adsorption mass transfer are significance. Therefore, this research adopts NaCl modified for aritifical zeolite. And ultrasonic as reinforcement method, research Adsorption mass transfer process further. To provide more reasonable and effective theory basis for ion exchange adsorption technology. In artificial zeolite ammonia nitrogen adsorption experiment phase, researched influence factors of artificial zeolite adsorption ammonia nitrogen. Including dosage of modified zeolite, initial concentration, adsorption time, temperature, pH, etc. Combined artificial zeolite characterization and experiment results, found that artificial zeolite adsorption capacity remains to be improved, and analysis reasons of low adsorption capacity of artificial zeolite. By comparing experiment of ultrasonic and non-ultrasonic, found that ultrasound has reinforcement for artificial zeolite adsorption ammonia nitrogen. So modify and improve adsorption will be the next phase research target. In modified zeolite ammonia nitrogen adsorption experiment phase. At first, artificial zeolite modified by NaCl solution, and ehance mass transfer process of adsorption ammonia nitrogen by ultrasonic. Researched on optimum concentration of NaCl modification. Then, investigated influence factors for modified zeolite adsorb ammonia nitrogen, Including dosage of modified zeolite, initial concentration, adsorption time and temperature, pH, etc. The optimum conditions were determined through orthogonal experiment. By characterization analysis, explained mechanism of modified zeolite adsorption ability improved. At the same time, investigated ultrasonic reinforcement mechanism of ion exchange mass transfer. By adsorption isotherm fitting, investigated modified zeolite ammonia nitrogen adsorption properties under ultrasound and non-ultrasound. The experimental result shows that NaCl solution with concentration 0.8 mol/L had the best effect on modification of artificial zeolite. When modified zeolite dosage 50g/L, adsorption time 40 min, room temperature 25?, pH was neutral, ammonia nitrogen removal efficiency was the best. The removal effect of ammonia nitrogen in solution was more significant with ultrasonic method. Langmuir and Freundlich adsorption isotherm could describe the ammonia nitrogen adsorption Characteristics of modified zeolite. The author believes that study on zeolite modified and enhanced adsorption is very significance. But this experiment also has many aspects need improved, such as zeolite adsorption process was studied, but desorption process of zeolite was not studied. Ultrasonic cavitation mechanism is very complex, this research is not enough for ultrasonic strengthening adsorption mechanism.
