Water Ecological Environment Health Evaluation Of Jinan

Water is the most fundamental element for human survival and social development, as well as, is the controlling factor of the ecological environment. Healthy and safe water ecological environment is the basic requirements to realize the harmonious development between economy society and ecological environment, and the basis guarantee to accelerate the construction process about "Water Ecological Civilized City" and "Sponge City" for Jinan City. Therefore, the comprehensive analysis and evaluation the health of the water ecological environment in Jinan City, is helpful to identify the risk of water ecological environment, which is of great significance.First of all, from five major aspects, which are water environment, water resources, water landscape, water management and water culture, 39 specific indicators were selscted to construct water ecological environment health evaluation index system of Jinan in this paper. Combining with experts’ and public’s opinions, using Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP), each index weight of the evaluation index system was identified. Using the various statistical data, the health status of the water environment in Jinan was evaluated from from 2010 to 2013. The results showed that water ecological environment health of Jinan overall has improved from 2010 to 2013 overall, but the overall score was still low, which due to the low score of water environment and water landscape. Particularly, in 2011, the health status of water environment dropped significantly, and serious water pollution contributed a lot.Secondly, 15 indicators from social economy, natural environment, and residents living, were studied in order to found out the key factors that influenced the health og water ecological environment of Jinan using the factor analysis method in this paper. The result showed that the quality problems of water environmental and the demands, supply and utilization of water resources was still the critical factors for the health of water ecological environment of Jinan.Thirdly, using the data of economy, society, and environment of Jinan from 2010-2015, the health status about water ecological environment of Jinan in 2020, was predicted, combining with status of the city development of Jinan and the planning for the future, by the linear regression method. The results showed that the health status of water ecological environment would have improved distinctly.Finally, according to the evaluation and analysis above, some strategies from environment management, water resource utilization, water conservancy project and landscape construction, market regulating function, perfect laws and regulations, promoting water culture and measues, were performed to improve the water ecological environment of Jinan in this paper.
