Rapid Development Of Customer-oriented Tire Mold Products

Tire mold is an important consumables in tire industry,which plays a big role in the research and development of all kinds of tire production.This paper,aiming at enterprise application,combined with UG secondary development technology and ideas for customer customization,has studied tire mold CAD technology which is aimed at company product based on the tire mold design status of an enterprise.In view of the present tire mold design process,this paper study from tire model,tire mold electrode and tire mold characters three aspects,specific work is as follows:(1)Researches the ideas for customer customizationThis paper analyzes the present situation of CAD software used,looking over a large number of literature,studys the theory and method of mass customization,ideas for customer customization and modular technology,applying the ideas for customer customization to actual problem.(2)Summarizes tire mold design processThis paper summarizes from tire model,tire mold electrode and tire mold characters three aspects in detail.In the aspect of tire model,it expounds the various steps in tire modeling;in the aspect of electrode design,it gives a very detailed design principles;in the aspect of character,it summarizes the design details of text character from both character projection and processing.(3)Modulars the design process of tire moldBased on summing up the tire mold design process,according to idea of custom-oriented and giving full consideration to the design-custom of designers,tire mold design is divided into several independent function modules,in order to achieve the tire mold design standardization.(4)Uses UG secondary development technology programming module functionAs for each module,using UG secondary develop technology to program the corresponding function and embedded in UG,which is easy for the designers to call at any time,improving design efficiency and saving manual operation.By use of UG/Open second development tools,the system is in UGNX4.0 software platform,which can realize rapid development of tire mold,not only greatly reduce manual operation and accelerate the design speed,but also improve the accuracy of tire design.
