With the surging urbanization process in our country and the rapid rise of industry modernization, the pollution to the air quality has become increasingly serious, especially in the urban area where economic is highly developed and the population is relatively concentrated. The increasingly dense traffic source and buildings have a negative effect on the efficient spread of pollutants. The phenomenon such as the increasing industrial waste gas emissions and the surging coal consumption have become the important influencing factors to the air quality. The spread and the dilution process of pollutants into the air will change the physical and chemical properties of the air.At present, our country broadcasts air quality to the public with the present data of air pollution index in most of the cities. This report mainly uses exploratory spatial statistics, and geographically weighted regression method to analyze the correlation of regional air pollution in China. And the analysis is conducted from the aspects of the specific studies into the objective and subjective influencing factors of the air pollution in China. The advice is then listed according to the conclusion.First of all,to measure the air pollution index, the report collects the data of the concentration level of several kinds of main air pollutants. To analyze the space-time distribution of air pollution in our country, the report compares the concentration level of air pollutant in the seven regions and the distribution of the air pollution index among the four seasons in our country. Results show that the influencing degree of three kinds of main air pollutants are different for each region, but pm 10,as the main pollutants in the air,has great impact on the air pollution index.Air pollution index shows a seasonal trend of decreasing from spring to winter.Secondly, the report uses exploratory space analysis to analyze the degree of spatial dependence and spatial difference of the air pollution in China. Results show that there exists strong spatial agglomeration among provinces and cities in our country and the space difference is smaller. There is also a positive correlation among different provinces or cities, which produces a linkage effect and requires the improvement of cross-regional cooperation mechanism in our country.Next,by considering the objective influencing factors and subjective influencing factors, our country provincial air pollution analysis is conducted.Objectively, the report mainly considers the influence of climatic conditions and the natural environment(such as dust weather)on air pollution.Subjectively, the report considers the influencing factors like the GDP per capita, car ownership, energy consumption, environmental governance investment.By combining the objective and subjective influencing factors with the use of geographically weighted regression model, this report makes a comprehensive analysis. Results show that the sand dust weather will result in the rise in the air pollution index of those city affected, but the winds during the period will then improve the air quality; In term of climate, temperature, humidity, and precipitation-these three indexes, has negative correlation with air pollution index; When it comes to subjective influencing factors, the GDP per capital relates most to the air pollution, followed by the car ownership, and energy consumption.Lastly, relevant advice to improve the air quality is listed to the relevant administrations and government departments, considering the revision of cross-regional air pollution cooperation mechanism, optimization of Chinese air pollution influencing mechanism and innovation of air pollution controlling methods.
