| Along with our country urbanization speed up,urban vehicle ownership is growing fast,and motor vehicle exhaust emission has become the important pollution sources,seriously affected the outdoor and indoor people’s health.Traffic pollutant diffusion regularity must be studied to provide data support for urban traffic pollution,and provide a scientific basis for reasonable planning.The numerical simulation method based on computational fluid dynamics is applied widely for its low cost,short cycle and accepted by many scholars.The numerical simulation has become the important tool of traffic pollution research.CFD numerical simulation software is so powerful,but it is difficult to model complex buildings.In recent years,scholars have been transferred to the interdisciplinary and cutting-edge sciences.Geographic information system(GIS)with its powerful data acquisition management analysis and the ability to output a variety of geospatial information,become the important research direction.Fully combining CFD software and the GIS used in the study of diffusion of pollutants in the urban traffic will be an entirely new exploration.In view of the limitations of various research methods,this paper presents a new method of coupling CFD software and the GIS used for transport of pollutants diffusion research,and we could view the traffic pollutant movement and diffusion process directly in the GIS.In this paper,we use SketchUp and ArcGIS software model village buildings of a district of Chongqing,then we use the CFD software for numerical simulation research.Finally we import the CFD software simulation data into GIS software containing building models,and the results in the GIS software show the wind velocity field inside the village and pollutant diffusion process and results.Results show that using SketchUp to create complex 3 d model is simple and efficient,and the model is highly in accordance with the actual structure size degree.The mesh model and the software ICEM CFD cooperate well,greatly reduces the difficulty in the process of modeling and mesh.It is relatively complex with simulating data import to GIS software,and we need to solve the data conversion of data format and 3D coordinate system unified problem.After processing data into GIS software,the results clearly show the pollutant diffusion process in the community.It may help the city planning and architectural design for the future,and eventually improve the urban living environment and improve the quality of life in urban areas. |
