| Ostomy pressure-sensitive adhesive is a mixture of rubber and water-soluble polymer powders,it has excellent adhesion properties and water absorption.Rubber matrix provide excellent dry tack,so that the pressure-sensitive adhesive can be quickly bonding on the skin under small pressure.Water-soluble polymer components are of high water absorption,wound exudate can be ffully absorbed by them,and they can provide a moist wound healing environment to the affected part as being swelling after absorbing water.The most important performances of ostomy pressure-sensitive adhesive are mechanical properties and water absorption properties.This topic mainly focus on these two performances,Carried out three parts as follows:The first part:We studied the compatibility of different types of tackifying resin and rubber matrix by DMA,we choosed the C5 petroleum resin which has the best compatibility with the rubber matrix as the pressure-sensitive tackifier resin.After this,we studied the the effect of the amount of tackifier resin on mechanical properties of pressure-sensitive adhesive.And the impact of naphthenic oil as a plasticizer on the mechanical properties of pressure sensitive adhesive was discussed in this part.We used liquid isoprene rubber substituted naphthenic oil as a pressure-sensitive adhesive plasticizer innovatively,and studied the impact of the liquid isoprene rubber as a plasticizer on the mechanical properties of pressure-sensitive adhesive at the same time.We studied effect of different molecular weight PIB on mechanical properties of the pressure-sensitive adhesive by using orthogonal test,and got the best ratio of different molecular weight PIB.In the first part,we gained he rubber matrix formula which had optimum mechanical properties:SIS content is from 0 to 10%tackifying resin is 0 to 15%,naphthenic oil is from 0 to 13%,liquid rubber is 0-8%,low molecular weight polyisobutylene(LPIB):molecular weight polyisobutylene(MPIB):molecular weight polyisobutylene(HPIB):2:3:1.The second part:the amount of water absorption of the pressure-sensitive adhesive was determined,and we studied the effects of odium carboxymethyl cellulose(CMC),cross-linked sodium carboxymethylcellulose(X-CMC)on water absorption and integrity of the pressure sensitive adhesive.And we used super absorbent polymer(SAP)innovatively,ensuring high water absorption capacity while reducing the component of water absorption components,so that the flexibility of the pressure-sensitive adhesive was increased.We discussed the influence of different sizes of SAP particles on mechanical properties of pressure-sensitive adhesive after absorption of water.The formula which had optimum water absorption properties was gained in the second part:CMC content is 10~25%,X-CMC content is 10~25%,SAP content is 0 to 15%(of which SAP particle diameter is preferably in the range of 100-200 mesh).The third part:In this study,we used dynamic rheometer(DHR)to replace the traditional tack testing methods and peel strength testing method of pressure-sensitive adhesive innovatively,and explained the its mechanism.We found that the lower the storage modulus was at low frequencies,tack performance of pressure sensitive adhesive was better,the higher the loss modulus was at high frequency,the greater the 180° peel strength was.The balance of tack and peel strength of pressure-sensitive adhesive were discussed in this part,and we found that we can characterize the balance of tack and peel strength by the use of loss factor. |
