Because of the rapid development of technology,the world are facing the multiple pressure of resources,energy and environment,it’s a strategic priority to develop and utilize of clean,new,efficient,economy energy.when it’s compared with wind energy,solar energy and some other new energy,nuclear energy has some advantages such as economic,durable,stable with the most development value and development potential.But the security issues of nuclear energy must not be ignored,it’s the focus and difficulty of the further development of nuclear technology,is also one of prerequisites for application of nuclear power.It has important benefits of society and environment to invent a new radiation shielding cement with stable,low consumption,good shielding effect.The cement clinker has certain amount of calcium borate with neutron shielding performance,it’s prepared in high temperature with industrial raw material mixed with an appropriate amount of pure chemical reagents X.The burn ability,mineral composition,mineral morphology of cement clinker is studied with XRD analysis,SEM-EDS analysis,f-CaO analysis,and the performance of the mechanical strength and the neutron shielding of the cement clinker is analyzed to explore the relationship between mineral composition and the performance of mechanical strength and the neutron radiation shielding,want to find the preparation method of cement clinker.The results showed that,the temperature and the amount of X in cement material have a certain influence on the content of f-CaO of cement clinker,increasing the temperature can decrease the content of f-CaO at lower temperature,rasing X content can better decrease the content of f-CaO to improve the burn ability of cement clinker.Temperature and the amount of X in cement material have a certain influence the mineral composition and mineral morphology of cement clinker.The mineral system is C3S,C2S,C3A,C4AF and Y five species.The amount of C3S will increase but the amount of C2S is less by increasing temperature,adding the amount of X in cement material,the content of Y increases slowly.When the temperature is 1350℃,the mineral crystals grow well,distribute evenly.The temperature affects the compressive strength and neutron radiation shielding of cement,increasing the temperature,the compressive strength of same raw material coment increases gradually;increasing the temperature,the neutron radiation shielding of the cement decrease after rising first;When the temperature is 1350℃,the neutron radiation shielding and compressive strength of cement is better.The mineral composition of cement clinker has a great influence on the compressive strength and neutron radiation shielding of cement,the amount of C3S affects the early strength of cement,it was improved gradually by increasing the amount of C3S;the amount of Y affects neutron radiation shielding of cement,it was improved by increasing the amount of Y,when it was mixed 3-4%X,the neutron radiation shielding of cement is better;the amount of silicate minerals of clinker affects the 28 day compressive strength,when it was mixed 2%X,the compressive strength is better.
