Rotary steering drilling technology was regarded as a revolution of the directional drilling technology,representing the highest level in today's world of drilling technology.Controllable bent sub oriented institutions belong to the dynamic to rotary steering drilling tool.Its theoretical and applied research will give the rotary steerable drilling tool's development of domestic has laid a good foundation of theory and practice.Sealing mechanism is an important part of the controllable bent sub.The performance of the sealing structure will affect the normal drilling and service life.This paper focuses on controllable bent sub guides near-bit side sealing structure design and performance analysis,the main research contents are as follows:(1)This paper analyzes the domestic and foreign research progress of rotary steering drilling tool,summarizes the development of the seal dynamic of the downhole tool,pointed out the direction of the perfection of the controllable bent sub steering mechanism improvement and seal design.(2)Through the theoretical calculation and finite element simulation,the paper analyses the guide shaft deflection and flexural deformation of composite seal structure,defined the major limiting factor sealing structure size.(3)By analyzing the structure characteristics,working environment and requirement for seal structure of controllable bent sub steering mechanism clear the difficulty of seal design,targeted design of a pressure compensation seal structure with a combination and the use of SolidWorks completed its three-dimensional structural modeling.(4)According to related standards,through the theoretical calculation and in combination with engineering experience,it primary chooses the structural parameters of the O-rings,bellows,pressure cylinder and helical seal.And the control variable method is adopted by useing of ANSYS software.O-ring and corrugated pipe is mainly studied the relationship between structure parameters and its main performance index by useing MATLAB to draw the curve optimizing the structure parameters and optimize the structure performance.Through the above research work bit side seal for controllable bent sub oriented institutions provide a feasible design scheme.
