Gas fire extinguishing technology as the one of 4 major traditional technology(water sprinkler, foam, dry powder, gas fire extinguishing), has play a decisive role in the development of fire extinguishing technology, local application extinguishing technique of gas extinguishant is the most advanced in the study of gas extinguishing. At present, gas agent with local application performance includes: Halon 1301, Halon 1211, carbon dioxide, HFC-236 fa. Above agents have a local application extinguishing performance, and also have a total flooding fire extinguishing performance. Among them, Halon 1301 and halon 1211 have been out of use. Currently carbon dioxide agent is prohibited orrestricted the application in occupied place for toxicity factors. But have not yet study on the local application extinguishing performance of HFC-236 fa.In summary, the research needs to improve HFC-236 fa local application technology, promote the development of such technology, hope to provide some references for the personnels engaged in R&D, design and application of gas extinguishing agent.The objective: to determine the HFC-236 fa environmental conditions and basic parameters; determine the structure and parameters of nozzle used in local application. Test and verify HFC-236 fa environmental conditions and basic parameters in local application, such as: working temperature range, the maximum installation height, working pressure, extinguishing concentration, supplying intensity and duration of supplying time. The research method of this work: mainly use two methods to carry out this work, reference current relevant standards at home and abroad and the practical applications, verify the actual test related parameters. Results and conclusion of this work: through the development of this work, get the structure and parameters of nozzle in local application of HFC-236 fa agent. Determine the HFC-236 fa environmental conditions and basic parameters, such as: operating temperature range, the maximum installation height, working pressure, extinguishing concentration, supplying intensity and duration of supplying time etc. Provide the reference for the practical application of this kind of agent.
