Study And Design Of 3000hp DC Drawworks

With the growing of oil and gas exploitation,easily extractable oilfields is decline,oil and gas development extends into deep sea and strata.The demand for large oil rig is increasing.With the purpose of developing domestic large drilling rig market,the study and design of 3000 hp DC Drawworks used for 9000 m drilling rig has been completed in this paper.The 3000 hp DC Drawworks is a new type of heavy duty Drawworks.It is driven by three DC motors.The drawworks has 4 different speeds,which can be changed by the tooth clutch and pneumatic clutch.The drawworks divides into two sections.The front section is transmission system.And the rear section is power module.They are connected by the flange.The dimension of front and rear section meet the road transport conditions.At first,the three different transmission scheme are developed by comparing the similar drawworks.finally,one scheme has good comprehensive property has been selected.Then,in accordance with the relevant design specifications and design principles,the parameters and structure of the main components has been determine.Identified the model of major transmission chain,the strength of the chain is checked,the results show that strength meet the requirements and selected chain can be used for 3000 hp DC drawworks.The capacity of main brake,pneumatic clutch and auto feed system are also checked to ensure meet the requirements of oil drilling conditions.the mechanical method is used for strength analysis of drawworks' drive shafts to ensure the strength meet the security needs.At the same time,the structrue strength of the Drum is analyzed by using finite element analyzed software,the result show that strength meets the requirement.
