The Application Of Pipeline Leak Detection System In Yanlian-Xi'an Product Pipeline

Pipeline leakage detection and location method has been studied for decades,so there have been a lot of detection and location methods about oil and gas pipeline leakage at home and abroad.However,due to the particularity of each pipe,the diversity of pipeline medium,as well as the complexity of pipeline laying environment,there is still no simple,reliable,and universal solution for pipeline leakage detection and the location of the leakage point,especially for leakage point location of small leaks.In light of the problems existing in the actual operation of leakage monitoring system for Yanlian--Xi'an pipeline,the paper,based on the original intelligent ultrasonic leakage detection method,applied the integrated leakage detection method into leakage monitoring.Thus,both ultrasonic leak detection system and negative pressure wave system can be implemented for leak dictation in the same pipeline.In the implementation process,firstly,the original intelligent ultrasonic leak detection system was updated,by equipping the original hardware with a set of hardware for ultrasonic leak detection system and optimizing the original software;secondly,a set of hardware and software for negative pressure wave leak detection system was added in the whole Yanlian-Xi'an product oil pipeline;finally,the intelligent ultrasonic leak detection system and the negative pressure wave leak detection system were integrated.Thus,the integrated system can find the leakage point faster and more accurately,providing reliable data for other long-distance pipeline operation.With the rapid development of the leakage detection system,the multiple leakage detection methods can provide an advanced guidance,among which the intelligent ultrasonic leakage detection method and the negative pressure wave leak detection method are relatively mature.The two mature integrated methods for leak dictation in this paper can better guarantee the safe and stable operation of pipeline.
