Mine gas is one of the five natural disasters in coal mine, and the gas accident has the most serious damage in all mine accidents, bringing a great threat to coal mine safety production. So choosing a reasonable way to predict the amount of mine gas emission and using highly efficient plan to extract mine gas is particularly important.Hongyan coal mine is a high gassy mine, the phenomenon of gas exceeding the limit usually occurs during the process of production. The paper aimed at the feature of the mine to research about the mine gas prevention and control. According to the geological conditions of Hongyan coal mine, theoretical research on the law of gas migration has been carried on. Through the collection and test data, the mine gas basic parameters has been mastered, and using separate source of coal mine gas emission prediction method to predict the amount of mine gas emission, grasping accurately the mine gas emission. Through the theoretical analysis, it combined with the actual situation of the mine, selecting the appropriate extraction technologies, summing a set appropriate gas control measures to the mine.The governance program, which greatly eliminates the gas disaster risks of Hongyan coal mine, safeguards the safety of mine workers and ensures the mechanized coal mining operations.
