| In this study, the raw materials are the extractives of pine pollen and dandelion. We used different auxiliary materials and granulation process to make them become to granules. We chose the best auxiliary materials and granulation process by comparing the formation rate, bulk density, tap density, angle of repose, moisture content, particle size, dissolubility, caking, color, the taste of the granules. We tested the routine inspection, particles made of active ingredient, heavy metal, microbe, the amount of loading difference, stability of the granules. We want to provide the reference for the industrial manufacture of pine pollen- dandelion granules. This study included the following sections:(1) The nature of the raw material. We tested the nature of the extractives of pine pollen and dandelion. We found the flowability and the taste of the two raw materials were poor.So we decided to add the fillers and flavoring agents.(2) Granulation method. The selections of granulation methods included boiling granulation and wet granulation. Due to the viscosities of the materials were too large.,the wet granulation failed. So we could only choose the boiling granulation.(3) Adhesives and the types of spray. The selections of adhesives included water, ethyl alcohol and syrup. The temperature was high, so we could not use alcohol. The viscosities of the materials were too large, so we could not use syrup. The final choice was water. The selections of spray included water, aqueous solution of flavoring, aqueous solution of the extractives of pine pollen. We used them to granulate and compare the indexes. The result showed that the aqueous solution of pine pollen was the best. Because pine pollen was little and light, as the spray could be dispersed more balance. So we chose the aqueous solution of the extractives of pine pollen as the spray.(4) The type and proportion of auxiliary materials. The selections of filler excipients included starch, maltodextrin and malt powder. We used them to granulate and compare the indexes. We chose the malt powder as the filler. The selections of flavoring materials included orange powder, pumpkin powder and jujube powder. We used them to granulate and compare the indexes. We chose the jujube powder as the flavoring materials. The choice of two kinds of materials were that fillers: flavor = 3: 2 or 1: 1 or 2: 3. We used them to granulate and compare the indexes. The best proportion of auxiliary materials was that fillers: flavor = 1: 1.(5) The parameters of boiling granulation. The parameters of boiling granulation included the inlet air temperature, the wind frequency, spray volume, spraying speed. We used the orthogonal experimental method and set 4 factors and 3 levels. We chose the forming rate, angle of repose as indexes. Finally, we found that inlet air temperature of 85 ℃, wind frequency of 25 Hz, spraying amount of 620 m L, spray speed of 5 rpm were the best parameters.(6) The quality test of granules. We made three batches of samples. We tested their routine inspection, active ingredient, heavy metal, microbe, the amount of loading difference, stability. The results showed that three batches of samples were in line with relevant quality standards. |
