Tailings are the important sources of pollution to the environment in the process of mining production and comprehensive utilization of tailings are paid more and more attention at home and abroad. This paper studied the mineral process of Liaoning Xinyuan mining of gold tailings, learning that the main minerals include feldspar and quartz tailing and the gangue minerals contain pyrite, magnetite, mica and so on. Through the contrast test of grinding modes, this paper investigated the grinding efficiency under two methods of ore and steel grindig and ascertained that the grinding time is 2.5min,-0.074mm accounted for 55.59% for the best through the process of testing. On the basis of this, the results of the experiment are satisfactory after the experimental research of beneficiation in the laboratory and provide certain theoretical basis for the tailings utilization of the enterprise. The laboratory test of the tailings beneficiation has carried on selective grinding, deslimingreverse flotation, mica, floating magnetic iron, feldspar and quartz flotationcombined flowsheet. After determining the ball mill grinding system, the test used a 150 mm diameter hydrocyclone for desliming test and underflow mica anti flotation test, finally getting the conclusion that the iron content of flotation concentrate is 1.51%. It is good for iron removal effect that concentrate iron content is 0.15% through the "floating-magnetic" combined removal iron,Flotation separation test of feldspar and quartz was conducted under acidic conditions and use the ratio of 1:4 collector mixed positive and negative ion, which found that the product yield of feldspar concentrates is 35.56% and the content of K2O, Na2O and total potassium sodium respectively is 8.86%,2.83% and 11.69%. In order to improve the utilization of tailings, the yield of 42.33% of feldspar concentrate can be gained through the scavenging experiments, the content of K2O is 8.64%, the content of Na2O is 2.71%, total potassium sodium content is 11.35%, the content of iron is 0.15%. And the feldspar concentrates was burning white test, products to burn white result is 66.42, which meets the requirements of some industries for feldspar products.
