In order to analyze the influence of coal quality indexes on coal dust explosibility, and use the coal quality indexes'data to predict the flame length of coal dust explosion, according to the national standards, the experiments about coal quality analysis and coal dust explosibility identification are conducted with the help of the related equipments. Eight coal quality analysis indexes'data and the coal dust explosion flame length data of eleven coal samples are measured. The correlation analysis result of coal quality indexes and coal dust explosion flame length shows that, the largest absolute value of the correlation coefficient among coal quality indexes and coal dust explosion flame length is 0.99, which belongs to the high correlation, and the largest absolute value of the correlation coefficient among coal quality indexes is 0.7, which belongs to the moderate correlation. It makes the principal component analysis on the coal quality indexes'data which can eliminate the high correlation among coal quality indexes and reduce the data dimensionality. The extracted three principal components are named as "volatile factor", "ash and fixed carbon factor", "moisture and ignition point factor", which illustrates that in the measured coal quality indexes, the impact of volatile on coal dust explosibility is the greatest, and the greater the volatile, the greater the risk of explosion. It also establishes a regression model about coal quality indexes of coal dust explosion flame length, a real example analysis shows that, the predicting error of explosive coal dust flame length is 8.89%, the existence reason of this error is analyzed. The predicting flame length value of non explosive coal dust is negative. These two predicting results show that, this predicting model can not predict the flame length accurately, it is only a preliminary of coal dust explosion based on coal quality analysis. The influence study of coal quality indexes on coal dust explosibility and its regression prediction have some guidance and reference meaning for coal dust explosion risk assessment of mine site and coal companies, which is also conducive to timely measures of explosion-proof and avoid the explosion.
