Yuanbaoshan open-pit mine affected by the Yingjin river which is across the deposit, in order to ensure the continued production of open-pit mine, it must implement to river engineering in the process of exploitation. In order to reduce the change river project investment and land acquisition costs, the change river position will establish the inner dump of the south wall. While a certain amount of coal under the south wall of yuanbaoshan open-pit mine, In order to improve the recovery rate of resources, reduce the waste of resources, increasing the economic benefit of open pit mine, it need to study the technical problems of the south wall coal backstopping. The paper on the basis of slope stability analysis, it need to consider the construction and development program of the inner dump and the technical requirements of change the river on the inner dump, consider the technical problems of the production continues, optimization the scheme of south wall coal backstoppingIn this thesis, it is base on the 3D geological model of open-pit mine, analysis of slope stability after steep slope mining by the rigid body limit equilibrium method, determine the circle patamerers of the south sople. Considering follow form all the production and the location of the project, and considering the change river factors of time?space, Design the scheme of south wall steep slope mining and production planning, Design the scheme of south inner spoil banks. The simulation of mine technology organize starting plan of the south wall coal backstoping mining and dump. The results of this study provides guidance for the long term planning of yuanbaoshan open-pit mine, and it can provide reference for similar mines.
