Slope stability analysis is a hot and difficult problem in the field of open-pit mining in recent years.How to design suitable slope projects according to different areas and different mining conditions of open-pit mines,understand the importance of slopes,fully understand local geological conditions,and scientifically analyze slope stability are important prerequisites for open-pit mine engineering design and safe construction.The research object of this paper is the slope stability analysis project of Malibu Open-pit Mine,Yemen.According to a large number of documents at home and abroad,the research results of slope stability analysis and prevention engineering measures of open-pit mines are summarized.Based on the existing mine basic data and on-site surveys,the engineering geological conditions of the open-pit mine,the basic characteristics of the slope and unfavorable engineering geological problems,the current stability of the slope,and the possible deformation and failure modes are analyzed.The main contents of this paper are as follows:1.After consulting relevant materials,after field exploration,summarized the common factors affecting the stability of the slope,as well as measures to improve the stability of the slope;2.The engineering geology and slope characteristics of the copper mine area located in Marib were analyzed in detail;3.The slope models of different depths were established with FLAC3 D software,and the slope displacement cloud diagrams,principal stress cloud diagrams,shear strain incremental cloud diagrams and plastic zone cloud diagrams at different depths were obtained.At the same time,the stereo projection method was introduced and the edge analysis was performed.Potential landslide model of slope.4.Through the analysis of specific areas in the mining area,the principles of landslide prevention and common protection measures are put forward.There are 27 figures,1 tables and 71 references in this thesis.
