The Research Of Unsafe Behavior Related Theories And Control Method

Accident causation theory is an important part of safety science, also it is important in safety management. Heinrich causal chain theory and Bird causal chain theory and other modern accident causation theories indicate that unsafe behavior is one of the most important factors that lead an accident. People is one of the important factors in all production system and at the same time is the most important determinants and the basic factors in system safety, the study of human being's behavior has important engineering value and academic value on improving safety performance and management level. Following the improvement of the science technology and the rich in safety science knowledge, it is necessory to study the behavior safety. For example, following the arising of advanced automatic control system and IT industry, the error between human and machine may induce the system disaster accident, but the original definition and classification of unsafe behavior don't define related behaviors. Following the research of psychology, behavioristics, physiology, management and other science theories developed in a deep way and the worker's imporved cultural quality and literacy, the original behavior control method become lag behind. It is very necessary to arouse a person's latent capacity, realize the transformation between unsafe behavior and safe behavior. The whole idea of the research is that human being's behavior is an action control by a person's psychology and consciousness, safety management or other controlling measures are difficult to affect and control behavior directly. For such a reason, to realize the behaviour control, must begin with the influence factors of behavior.The paper, first analyse the existing definition and classification of unsafe behavior, then make a improvement to them. Then study the influence factors of unsafe behavior, the results indicated that unsafe behavior controled by psychology, physiology, oraganization and environment four factors; use the fishbone diagram analyse the consist of each factor. Then use expert investigation method to study the factor's importance and make an order. After that, choose the ability, personality, consciousness and safety culture as the study object to find control method of these factors. The results demonstrate that training and education, management and restraint, effective incentive system, a good working atmosphere and other methods are important methods and ways to control unsafe behavior.Base the unsafe behavior control method, this paper use the Dupont's behavior-based safety method, STOP management as an example, compared Dupont's exercise and the paper's control methods, the results indicate that the unsafe behavior control method is feasible and effective.
