With the rapid development of aerospace industry, China’s manufacturing capacity and level of launch vehicles is also rising. The large complex multi axis machining equipment which realizes the integration of milling and welding directly, can be used to improve the utilization efficiency of machine tool, simplify the process of clamping work-piece, and improve efficiency and accuracy of machining.This thesis studies the integration of 3D laser cutting technology in multi-axis NC high-speed machining equipment. In the thesis, laser cutting is integrated in the traditional mechanical processing machine tool, which is of great reference value to the function expansion of traditional machine tool. The main contents of this research are as follows:(1) The hardware architecture of three-dimensional laser cutting system is investigated according to the needs of the project, then analyzes the hardware control interface of 840 Dsl CNC, and designs the controlling methods for the processing components in laser cutting.(2) There are three functional modules in the 3D laser cutting system software, which are Offline programming module, Processing control module and laser cutting database module. In Processing control module, software’s Second Development of 840 Dsl CNC system for 3D laser cutting process is researched based on the hardware integration of laser cutting equipment, which includes designs for control class of 840 Dsl CNC and the API of 3D laser cutting, achieving the function of machine tool motion control and process parameter settings.(3) In offline programming module, the kinematics analysis of laser cutting head in five-axis machine is researched based on the 3D-space mapping,, and the motion simulation software of Two-coordinate cutting head is designed. In laser cutting database, the design of database interface is researched based on HMI, and according to the functional requirements, the function of database embedding into the PCU is designed using SQLite3, achieving the function of modify, add, query, browse, delete in database.(4) The online temperature monitor during laser cutting process is researched, which helps for researching laser cutting mechanism. The temperature monitoring equipment of the laser cutting is designed. Then the temperature monitoring equipment is used to monitor the temperature data of kerf frontier real time during fiber laser cutting process, analyze the relationship between parameters of laser cutting and temperature of kerf frontier.
