The Research And Application Of Horizontal Drilling Technology In Shallow Layer

Shuguang oil production plant of Liaohe oilfield was located in the middle part of the western slop of the liaohe depression.This block was more small reservoir,effective thickness of main oil layer were average 3-4m.Shu 5 block was deployed 12 wells horizontal well in shuguang oil production plant in 2014.Technical problems were analyzed for the condition of high accuracy requirement of clout,thin reservoir,the dense borehole and focused on the use of floating drilling and rotary shaker,optimization control technology,optimization of the drilling fluid systems,safe drilling,completion pipe string technology,slim hole drilling of horizontal well and completion reaming process.Many advanced drilling and completion techniques were used in the development of Shu 5 block horizontal well.Floating drilling and rotary shaker,optimization control technology were used first in Liaohe oilfield.Drag pressure of horizontal well was controlled effectively and accelerated drilling speed in the horizontal wells.Borehole trajectory was optimized for anti-collision of drilling and shallow horizontal well locus,complex borehole reduced the impact on downhole safety.Reasonable drilling fluid formulation and good quality drilling fluid were used by learning from experiences of drilling fluid in previous drilling in Liaohe block.Downhole troubles in the process of drilling were decreased.The safety of drilling operation was guaranteed.According to the situation,corresponding completion measures were enacted in completion operation.The success rate of completion pipe string on once running achieved 100% in Shu 5 block.In some reservoir thickness is thinner,slim hole drilling and completion reaming process were used to increase drilling ratio of reservoir.The period of horizontal drilling would be greatly shortened in Shu 5 block for these factors.Completion quality achieved 100%.Drilling construction accumulated a lot of experience in Shu 5 block to lay a solid foundation for the development of future block.
