With the rapid development of modern electronic technology,high-precision instruments and communication products have been developed to high-density and high-precision.Therefore,the electromagnetic interference resistance of devices is greatly improved.At present,the electrostatic discharge test standard specified by the International Electrotechnical Commission(IEC)is only for contact electrostatic discharge.But in real life,the occurrence of electrostatic discharge is often non-contact.Therefore,the standard of electrostatic discharge is not applicable to this situation.Gap electrostatic discharge(ESD)has become a major form of interference in electronic devices in modern industrial production and life.Therefore,it is very important to study non-contact electrostatic discharge.In this paper,the gap detection and control part of the new electrostatic discharge multi factor tester is studied.Based on the theory of electrostatic discharge(ESD),a circuit model of gap electrostatic discharge is established.The step angle of the stepping motor is controlled by the step motor controller sending the quantitative pulse number to realize the precise control of the position of the load platform.The system consists of an open loop control system and a closed loop control system.In the open loop system,the stepping motor is connected with the crankshaft linkage to control the linear displacement of the magnifying gun.In the closed loop control,the step motor is connected with the ball screw mechanism through a coupling to control the displacement of the discharge target installed on the load platform.In order to achieve accurate control of the position of the discharge target,the grating ruler sensor is installed on the ball screw to realize the real-time feedback of the displacement of the discharge target.The corresponding control algorithm is used to control the distance between the discharge gun and the discharge target.In this paper,the corresponding hardware and software programming are set up,and the simulation is carried out at the end of the article.
