ZaDuo County is located in the southwest of Qinghai Tibet Plateau,belonging to the Yushu Tibetan Autonomous prefecture.?In recent years,with economic development,because of a series of human activity,there are lots of geological disasters,such as landslides,collapse and mudflows,etc.Which has caused a serious threat to the life and property safety ofpeople in these areas,and brought an impact to the economic development of these areas.Relying on related geo-hazardthe detailed investigation of geological hazard project in ZaDuo County,YuShu City,QingHai Province,through field survey and datacollection,according to geological environmental conditions,and geological hazards characteristics,combined with the geo-hazards point density,the degree of risk and a range of threats to the quantitative evaluation and qualitative analysis method,select the disaster sitedensity,slope indicators,indicators of high slope,slope-type index,type of rock group index,vegetation index,engineering activities impact indicators,precipitation index,the geo-hazardrisk evaluation index system is established.Using the overlay and statistical function of GIS,The geo-hazard liability evaluation and risk zonation is carried out.It is classified as three levels:high-susceptibility areas,middle-susceptibility areas and low-susceptibility areas,high-risk areas,mddle-risk areas and low-risk areas.The area of the high-susceptibility is 2903.52km~2,accounted for 8.4%of the total area of the ZaDuo county;The area of the middle-susceptibility is about 28952.19km~2,accounted for83.9%;The low-susceptibility is 2699.3km~2,accounted for 7.7%.The area of the high-risk is245.36km~2,accounted for 0.71%of the total area of the ZaDuo county;The area of the middle-risk is about 867.38km~2,accounted for 2.51%;The low-risk is 33444.26km~2,accounted for 96.78%.On the basis of this,the county has carried out the prevention and control planning division,identified the key control areas,sub key control areas and the general prevention and control area,and provides the basis for the county's geological disaster prevention work.The quantitative susceptibility zoning and quantitative risk zoning with to the Qinghai Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture,with much land and few people,with large tracts of uninhabited areas of Zaduo County,to compensate for the limitations of qualitative evaluation,improve the accuracy of qualitative evaluation,suitable for such remote areas for such quantitative regionalization.
