With the deep exploration of the ocean and in order to break through the complicated marine environment and meteorological conditions to explore the breadth and depth of the Ocean bound in the marine development and human development,A new kind of water surface unmanned aerial vehicle which using wave as driving force was developed.The wave glider get rid of the constraints of power energy and the marine environment,it can carry on the long-term exploration of the ocean environment.Full range,and strong flexibility,high working efficiency,which makes the wave Glider will have a very broad prospect.The power of the wave glider comes mainly from the thrust of the submerged body,so this paper analyzes the hydrodynamic performance of the wave glider submerged body part.The detail content as follows:First of all,this paper uses CFD software STAR-CCM+,take the wave glider submerged body part as the research object,used RANS equation,SST k-? model,based on the overset mesh technology and DFBI six DOF motion module,realize the tandem hydrofoil's passive rotation,completed the numerical computation of three-dimensional tandem hydrofoils of the wave glider submerged body part.On the assumption that the submerged body part do the simple harmonic motion,analysis the motion law of each tandem hydrofoil by calculating the angular velocity and angular acceleration of each hydrofoil parameters.Found that the first wing is always slower than the behind five wing,the time of each hydrofoil rotate to the maximum limit angle is not same,but the time at the maximum limit angle is almost the same.Secondly,focus on the analysis the influence of wing number,wing spacing,maximum limit angle,rotor position,movement period,amplitude,flow velocity of the propulsion performance,by comparing the different conditions of the submerged body propelling force,gives the optimized design scheme of the submerged hydrofoil.For the more,the consultant force increases since the wave height increases,and decreases when the wave length and velocity increases.Finally,this paper analyzes the movement form and the force of wave glider and establishs a algebraic relation between the vertical response of the submerged part and the vertical response of the mother ship in the wave.On this basis,this paper uses CFD software AQWA and STAR-CCM+ to calculate the propulsion performance of wave glider in one order,two order,three order sea conditions.The data reference is provided for the design and sea trial of the next generation wave glider.
