In the field of marine simulation technology,the researchers put forward a lot of strict standards for the immersion,authenticity,interactivity,real-time and so on.Therefore,it is very important to use the computer to build a high quality virtual ocean modelFirst of all,according to the problem of the method of physical modeling in the simulation of takes lots of resources of CPU and GPU,an improved method was proposed which is related to the ocean simulation,it uses the Gerstner geometric model preprocessing wave spectrum model based on wave height texture sequence diagram.According to the method of the existing Gerstner waveform has better simulation results of peak of wave simulation,it increases the control factor of the existing Gerstner wave model which used on wave spectrum of FFT and Gerstner wave inversion,and finally it use the method of texture mapping on the surface in the GPU grid vertex processor,the height distribution in the method of dynamic height data obtained grid node simulation of three dimensional ocean to achieve the model of sea.Secondly,in the large-scale ocean simulation system,CPU resources are not exclusive for the computer dynamic simulation of ocean wave,if the method of physical modeling by solving N-S equations for wave simulation,the time complexity is high,the rendering speed is low.Therefore,it needs to use the LOD technology to draw a large area,and it inspired by the literatures,according to the visual rules,the observation of any scene has the rule: when the central focus imaging dense,spreading to the periphery of the farther imaging on the evacuation.A LOD grid for projection mapping is established.Finally,according to analyse and study of the available simulation of ocean wave foam.Mostly,the simulation methods at home and abroad use the foam of the sea wave foam particle system,particle system to achieve more precise results with different physical properties of the particles,complex particle system trajectory even prepared corresponding functions for each different particle.Although the rendering effect of particle system is realistic,but the scene simulation of ocean wave in a wide range,because each frame of real-time dynamic refresh,CPU load a lot,aiming at this problem,put forward a method of dynamic simulation of foam texture mapping.
