Gamma Ray Burst(GRB)is a stellar explosionin the gamma-ray band from space.Since its discovery in the 1960 s,GRB has always been a very important and difficult issue in the field of high-energy astrophysics. The occurrence of GRB is random, and its radiation time scale in the gamma-ray band is very short.Since its discovery in the 1960 s,people have had limited understanding of its radiation characteristics and physical origin. After discovering its optical afterglow for the first time in 1997,people’s research and understanding of it entered a new era. This paper based on a number of domestic optical band telescopes to track the afterglow of the GRB,through the first-hand observations data to carry out scientific research. In Chapter 1,the paper briefly introduces the research background of GRB and the observational equipments we are using.Chapter 2 specifically explains how to use the GRB trigger information of the space monitors to conduct our ground observations to discover and track its optical afterglow. In Chapter 3,the main steps of processing and analyzing the original observational data of the optical afterglow are introduced in detail. The radiation law and the physical origin of the optical afterglow are studied through its light curve and spectral information. We have published the results of some scientific data in The Gamma-ray Coordinates Network(GCN)of GRB research. In section 5 of chapter 3 lists some of our published results on GCN.One of the important features of GRB optical afterglow is that some of them will be associated with supernovae, which will play an important role in understanding the burst mechanism and physical origin of Gamma-ray bursts.Chapter 4 first introduces the research background and physical model of supernovae. Then we introduce our analysis of optical observational data and model fitting of supernova explosions. We have measured some major physical parameters to limit the burst mechanism of supernovae. Finally,Chapter 5 summarizes my research results and makes a further outlook at the research of GRB afterglows and the supernova central engine. The appendix lists some major technical parameters of our optical observational equipments,as well as the basic parameter settings for photometric and spectral extraction in the data processing software. At the end of the paper, the scientific research results obtained during my master’s degree are given, including 1 ApJ and 12 GCN Circular(2 as the first author).
