The Laowangou gold deposit is located in the concentrated area of gold deposit in Fengxian-Taibai(Feng Tai)polymetallic metallogenic belt in Western Qinling Mountains,east of Lixian-Zhashui Hercynian fold belt,and located in the gold bearing crushing zone between the Tangzang-Danfeng-Shangnan big fault zone and the Lixian-Fengzhen-Shanyang big fault zone.The geological conditions of the gold mineralization are superior prospecting potential.The early plate activity and magmatism in the region of the survey area are frequent and intense,which makes the structure complex and diverse in the survey area,mainly including the NW and NNE faults of different scale structures,which provide the necessary geological conditions for the gold mineralization in the survey area.In addition,the gold deposits in the Fengxian-Taibai(Feng Tai)polymetallic metallogenic belt gold deposit concentration area are far greater than its background value,which provides a good source of metallogenic material for the formation of gold deposits in the survey area.The gold deposits were formed in the period of the Hercynian-Indosinian,and the hydrothermal metasomatism related to the granitoids,including tectonic alteration type,quartz vein type and hydrothermal type.In the area,three gold bearing veins have been found through channel exploration and drilling,and they have been found to be NNE and NW,which are consistent with the tectonic direction of the survey area.Some of them are developed in the tectonic breakage zone,and the gold mineralization in the survey area is controlled by NW and NE in the area.The geological work of the survey area is less,mainly for the study of geology,geochemistry and drilling in the survey area with the project team and Sino Shaanxi Nuclear Industry Group,and obtained corresponding scientific research and prospecting results.Due to the limitation of the method,the information of the deep geological structure is lack,and that is to carry out the geophysical work in the survey area.While exploring the geological structure,we can delineate the prospective area of gold metallogenesis,and then guide the next step.Therefore,data collection,geological exploration,collection of rock and ore specimens,indoor analysis and testing of resistivity and susceptibility,online inquiry and collection,audio magnetotelluric(AMT),ground high precision magnetic prospecting,data processing,analysis and inversion interpretation have been carried out,and the important geoelectric profile and ground of the survey area are obtained.The high precision magnetic survey results map deeply analyzed the geoelectric anomalies and magnetic anomaly characteristics of rock ore,fracture zone and alteration zone in the survey area,and obtained the control of NE and NW structure in the measured area of gold mineralization in the survey area,and presented the abnormal characteristics of low resistivity and low susceptibility.From the above,this paper studies the measurement zone gold metallogenic regularity,figure out the potential of different part of the surveyed area the size of the fracture distribution and extension direction,including two NW to gold broken alteration zone,delineated the three nearly SN direction of gold metallogenic prospect areas,provided the best layout borehole location.The exploration results improve the spatial distribution of ore control structures,part of the surveyed area,marking out three good gold metallogenic prospect areas laid a solid foundation for the exploration and mining of follow-up work,has the vital significance.
