Being a kind of valuable natural resource,geothermal energy is both renewable and environmental friendly.Utilization and development of geothermal energy is of great importance in improving environment condition,transforming current energy consumption pattern anddeveloping low-carbon economy.Nowadays,for China,Facing severe situation such as high energy demand,exhausting natural resources,ecology system deterioration and reduction in environmental resource capacity,the market demand for clean renewable energy will rapidly increase.Being a kind of widely distributed clean renewable energy source with huge reserves,geothermal resource will play an increasingly important role in energy consumption market.Beijing,a world-famous international metropolis,being the capital city of China,is also the political,cultural,international communication and innovation center of the whole country.With the rapid development of city construction in Beijing,the air quality deterioration and energy supply shortage problems are rising.According to previous scientific research,the main causes of air pollution in Beijing are automobile exhaust,dustand burning of coal.Varity sources of pollution lead to many burning issues such as air quality deterioration and degradation of ecosystem,all of which put great pressure on Beijing's grand goal of building world's first-class harmonious livable city.In addition,according to the outline of the 13 th five-year plan of Beijing government,it is estimated that the demand for terminal energy in the city will be about 70 million tons of standard coal by 2020,only 10% of which will be depend on local market supply.Fortunately,Beijing has a wide distribution of geothermal energy.Therefore,developing Beijing's geothermal resources to meet local energy consumption demand is an important long-term task for geothermal exploration technicians.Beijing Municipal Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources Exploration chose Xiji town of Beijing,Tongzhou district as preliminary geothermal resource exploration target area.By implementing geothermal exploration and geothermal wells drilling work,the geothermal resources explored will be utilized as heat source for buildings' heating in Xiji town area,making contribution to building a zero-carbon emission demonstration town in Xiji town area.On the basis of research and analysis of Xiji town geothermal energy exploration and application of related technology,in this dissertation,I try to conduct the experimental study of drilling technology,expecting to check geothermal exploration results in the early stage of the test.On the other hand,by collecting and analyzing relevant technical data such as drilling,logging data,mud logging data,we gained experience in such type of drilling engineering.The previous geothermal resource explorations mainly concentrate on reserves which depths are less than3000 m and thermal storage temperaturesare less than 90 ?.Those reserves are mainly medium and low temperature ones.However,the medium and high temperature geothermal resources are more accepted due to their wider application area.With the development of drilling technology and increasing demand for highertemperature geothermal resources,more attention from market will be paid on medium and high temperature geothermal resources.However,it should be mentioned that,it is hard to control drilling mud stability during the drilling of higher temperature geothermal exploration wells,which will lead to well hole accidents,thus affecting the geothermal well productivity and may even result in geothermal well scrap.The construction units and exploration units usually suffer huge economic loss from those accidents.Therefore,the study on technological differences between medium and high temperature deep well drilling technology and traditional geothermal well drilling technology has become a new subject for the exploration of geothermal resources.By studying some high temperature adhesive stuck drill accidents in West town's geothermal resource exploration and well drilling in Beijing,I analyze causes of the accidents,state accident treatment,process methods,finally conclude strategies and gain experience.By comparing application results in different combinations of equipments selection,well drilling technology,adhesion sticking solutions and kinds of soaking technology for high temperature geothermal exploration wells,I find out more effective treatment scheme,which can provide references for geothermal exploration technicians in similar type of high temperature well drilling projects in the future.
