In this paper, from the N-level vortex equation, the first-order vorticity equation is obtained, and the vorticity equation on each plane is obtained. The influence of the terrain effect on the Rossby solitary wave is considered in the vorticity equation at the N-plane.The Korteweg-de Vries(KdV)equation under the effect of topographic effect is deduced by the dynamic method and the spatiotemporal elongation. The results show that the terrain has an important influence on the generation of the segregated Rossby solitary wave. Then,The baroclinic instability in the case of a general non-latitudinal basic airflow is unstable. In this paper,we study the influence of topographic effect on the Rossby solitary wave in the N-level model and the baroclinic instability of the non-zonal fundamental airflow in the case of the three-layer model atmosphere, and point out that the zonal basic airflow and the simple non-zonal basic airflow The impact of instability, the specific research as follows:In the first chapter, the research status and research methods of baroclinic Rossby wave and non-zonal basic airflow in the N-layer model are introduced. In the second chapter, the derivation of N-level model quasi-geostrophic vorticity equation is introduced. At the same time, the baroclinic instability of non-latitudinal elementary flow is introduced. The third chapter is divided into three parts:(1)The subsurface turbulence equation of the isolated Rossby wave under the influence of the terrain effect in the N-level model;the reduced perturbation method derives the KdV equation with the terrain effect in the N-layer mode atmosphere and the Rossby Solitary wave and Rossby solitary wave solutions.(2)the baroclinic instability of the non-zonal basic airflow in the three-layer model atmosphere and the effect of the basic airflow state on the instability.(3)Finally summarize the conclusions of this paper and point out the prospect of its related research.
