Coal-bed methane accumulation models and resource evaluation being studied,based on the occurrence of coal-bed methane resources in the southern margin of Xinjiang Junggar Basin and this is important significance for coal mine safety production and coal-bed methane exploit.Paper use gas geology analysis,experimental analysis,numerical simulation and other means of CBM reservoir characteristics research,concrete results include the following:We analyzed the influences of tectonic movement on coalbed methane enrichment through the means of numerical simulation.With coal burial depth increases,the temperature is gradually increased and coal-bed methane is generated in large quantities from the early Cretaceous.Due to tectonic movements such coal strata uplift eroded,lost a lot of coal-bed methane.Coalbed gas in the study area is mainly affected by the Yanshan movement and Himalayan movement.The southern margin of junggar basin CBM accumulation models for extrusion steeply inclined thick coal seam pattern,the characteristics of coalbed methane accumulation in the region is that Coal seam dip angle,large thickness,shallow coal seams formed more burning area as well as less gas content;Due to squeezing effect of deep coal reservoir pressure big,coal-bed methane content is big,and hydrogeological conditions of coal-bed methane from channel with a seal.These several aspects makes the southern margin of the basin,deep rich CBM resources,is the preferred area for coal-bed methane exploration and development.Based on coal reservoir property of the southern margin of the junggar basin,the“improved multi-level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method” is used to have a comprehensive evaluation in coal-bed methane resources.The result is that the urumqi river-four blocks is favorable for CBM resources development and four river-DaHuangShan is next development block.Thus the coalbed methane resource evaluation has provided the direction of future exploration and exploitation of coalbed methane during the Xinjiang region.It is the first time that proposed the CBM accumulational model of extruded inclined thick seam in the southern margin of Junggar Basin and it has provides theoretical support for future research related to low-level CBM accumulation model.
