The Junggar basin is one of the large petroliferous basins in the northwest of China,located on the foreland thrust belt of the Northern Tianshan Mountains.There are rich conventional and unconventional oil and gas resources such as coal,oil,natural gas and coalbed methane on the thrust belt.These resources are mainly supplied by the Jurassic hydrocarbon source,therefore,based on the source rocks of Jurassic strata,with "source control theory" as the guiding theory,and combined with the results of previous studies,carried out the research of various energy resources enrichment law of Zhunnan area,provide scientific basis and theoretical basis for the comprehensive study of various energy mineral deposits in this area.The basic petroleum geological conditions are summed up.The conventional oil and gas is divided into the Middle petroliferous of Changji sag and Eastern petroliferous area of Fukang sag.The distribution is affected by the structure,from north to south,from gas to oil layers,grow old,and a piecewise characteristic,on the second structural belts rich of oil,and the third structural belts mianly as gas reservoirs,totally oil and gas accounted for more than 90% of the region's.And vertically,it can be divided into self-generating and self-preserving,lower source rock and upper reservoir.The Foreland thrust belts of the south Junggar has developed a large formation of coal.Combined with previous studies,the criteria for coalbed methane evaluation are determined,the coal measures strata with coal gas content greater than 6m3/t and buried depth of 900 m are determined as favorable target areas.Therefore,it is concluded that the Urumqi River-Four River basin area and the Hutubi River-Three TunRiver area are the priority exploration areas for coalbed methane reservoirs.Fukang sag as an example,a simulated well is built in the south of the depression sedimentary center and the thermal history is simulated,the results show that the Jurassic source rocks enter the oil generating window around 170 Ma,and the source rocks enter the middle mature stage around 125 Ma,and begin to generate a lot of energy around 75 Ma.The Paleogene has been in the stage of gas production so far.So,predict in depression center region may have potential of shale gas exploration.The combination of sedimentary environment and sedimentary facies determines the distribution and combination of oil and gas resources.The single energy development zone dominated by conventional oil and gas exploration,the superposition of multiple energy resources are mainly South Eastern Gumudi anticline,Seven Bay anticline and the Demon mountain anticline with “coal-coalbed gas-oil-shale gas-oil sand” as the main exploration model,The main exploration mode of the "coal-conventional oil-coalbed gas" is the main exploration mode in the east of Qigu anticlinal zone in the eastern part of the Middle East,and it can divided into three kinds of favorable exploration areas.
