Soil salinization occupies a larger area in our country. It becomes a malignant soil on account of the surface gathered by salt, the smaller soil porosity and the poorer ventilation permeability and so on.However, many halophytes are growing in such soil. The study on the distribution mechanism of nutrient and salt in halophytes and on the interaction between halophyte and soil will contributes to understanding the physiological and ecological processes of the halophytes in its saline soil and improving the saline soil.We selected four species of typical halophytes in Xinjiang such as Halocnemum strobilaceum,Suaeda microphylla,Kalidium foliatum and Salicornia europaea, and collected their samples and their soil samples on July 21,2015(the vigorous growth period)and on Octomber 28,2015(the decline growth period). These plants were divided into the root, the stem(the top stem, the middle stem and the bottom stem)and the leaf, and soil layers were also divided into 0-5cm,5-10 cm,10-20 cm,20-40 cm.Using some analysis methods such as one-way analysis of variance, principal component analysis and correlation analysis in SPSS17,We studied the stoichiometric characteristics at different growth stages, the relationship between salt accumulation and stoichiometry in the four halophytes at vigorous stage and discussed the effects of soil factors in stoichiometry of the four halophytes.Furthermore,we analyzed the distribution strategies on nutrient and salinity in the four halophytes, and to understand the relationship between halophyte and soil,we got the following main conclusions:(1)The total salt from the root to the top presented a significantly increasing trend at vigorous stage in four halophytes, which showed there was “salt island” effect in them.(2)C was negative correlation with N and P,but there was a significantly positive correlation between N and P in Suaeda microphylla and Kalidium foliatum at vigorous stage.Which reflected that the two halophytes had the same nutrient utilization strategy with other higher terrestrial plants.(3)There was a certain interaction ralationship between salt accumulation and stoichiometry in halophyte.(4)The results suggested that leaf N:P was affected by the species and their habitat soil.(5)These implied that euhalophytes played a desalting effect to soil especially Suaeda microphylla.(6)There were better effects of the surface(0-10cm)in Suaeda microphylla soil.(7)The habitat soil factor could affect the ecological stoichiometry in halophytes.
