With the development of laser technology,the ionization phenomena of atom and molecular in intense laser fields have attracted more attentions in recent decade.In this thesis,we briefly introduced the basic conceptions of intense laser field,the relative atomic experimental phenomena and theories on atomic ionization.Using the semi-classical re-scattering model,we investigated the non-sequential double ionization(NSDI)of Ar in elliptically polarized intense laser field.Our results show that the electron-electron correlation in both major and minor polarization directions can be controlled by varying the ellipticity of the elliptically polarized laser field.We also investigated the influence of elliptically polarized laser field on the recollision orbits in non-sequential double ionization.Our results indicate that he rescattering orbits can also be effectively controlled by varying the ellipticity.A brief introduction to the physical phenomena and conceptions in intense laser field,especially related to the atomic ionization in intense field,are presented in the first chapter.Then,a spetial emphasis is put on the non-sequential double ionization and the related experimental phenomena.Semi-classical re-scattering model has made great success in understanding the various phenomena in strong field physics.In the second chapter,we introduced the semi-classical model in elliptically polarized laser field adopted by this thesis in detail.In the third chapter,we investigated the three-dimensional electron-electron correlation of argon in elliptically polarized laser field based on the semi-classical model.Asymmetry parameter ? of the correlated electron momentum distribution is used to quantitatively describe the electron-electron correlation.The dependence of ? on ellipticity ? is totaly different in three directions.our work provides an efficient way to control the three-dimensional electron-electron correlation via elliptically polarized intense laser field.In addtion,we studied the effect of elliptically laser field to the rescattering orbits contributed to non-sequential double ionization.The summary and outlook along this direction have been presented in the last chapter.
